| Life as it is
Life as it is , is not as I thought it would be. Out of the corner of my eye I saw the youths hanging out on the corner.
It was night, but the shiny metal of their handgun shone in the moonlight as if the midday sun was reflecting on the water. Life as it is in the city,
where the children should be playing stickball they' re playing Russian roulette. Day in - day out, life as it is is not what they said it would be.
Where the trees should be incinerators burn toxic garbage from city streets. Where the rivers should flow the asphalt has filled in for highways.
Guns and garbae, killing the youths that is life as it is. The only flowers are those we have to lay on the graves of the youths who
could have one day been president.
Where have all the flowers gone?
The flower grows, blooms, blossoms, and whithers, The children will whither without a space in life, without mentors and teachers - they are t
he sun and the air that children need to blossom. Take them outside, take them under your wing, bring them off the streets and away from the vipers in
the night.
Reharvest the youth and bring back our future.
So many music performers always react there life experience through there songs in a dream state, like manor where five to ten related experience
